We hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and wish you all a Happy New Year! This week the children have been working on subtraction and understanding what it means to subtract. We have been using stories to subtract as well as working in groups to solve problems. In English this week we have been reading the story of ‘Someone Swallowed Stanley’. We have been using drama to retell the story and understand the feelings of the characters. Thank you to all the children for completing their reading and homework over the last two weeks. We are very close to finishing our climb of the Reading River.
