Welcome back! We hope you all had a good half term.
This week in English, we have been looking at stories with issues and dilemmas. We have thought about the characters and the situations that they have been in. Next week, we will be planning and writing our own dilemma story. A new spelling list should have come home this week, please encourage the children to learn these words at home.
In Maths, we have finished off some work on decimals and we have been looking at equivalent fractions.
In Computing we looked at an animal fact file and we started to research information on an animal of our choice. We will be looking at Word Processing skills for a few weeks to ensure that we all know how to open, save and print our work.
We have started a new Design and Technology project on money containers. We have evaluated a range of purses/ wallets/ money boxes thinking about the materials and the purpose. Over the coming weeks, we will be designing and making our own money containers or pencil case.
The tennis tournament that was due to be held on Tuesday of this week was postponed due to the weather. The event will be rescheduled.
