Christmas at Crowmarsh School has certainly begun! The sound of the Christmas productions and singing is a welcome noise and everyone has a skip in their step. We hope that parents will enjoy the three different productions that the school is organsing. We have our KS1 nativity, the EYFS and Year 6 Nativity and also the KS2 nativity. As you can imagine, there is a great deal of singing going on! Following on from the success of our Christingle last year, we will continue this again at St Mary Magdalene with Crowmarsh Pre-School joining in the festivities.

We look forward to meeting everyone during our parent evenings this week and hope that you are able to fully understand your child’s levels and progress through school. I will be issuing a link to a survey to fully evaluate parent’s perceptions of the new format for these evening. Please look out for this during the week ahead. The changes have been implemented to help support parents at home with their child’s learning and to ensure that parents understand exactly what our ‘levels’ mean and how their child should progress through the key stages.
It has been great to see so many parents at our latest parent workshops. In particular, the e-safety session that was hosted by Matt Lovegrove was a huge success. If you were unable to make it, please do schedule in the time this Thursday at 4:30p.m. There will be a movie for the children to ensure that all parents can come! It is a session that all parents should attend as it will really help you, as a parent, keep your children safe online. Don’t miss it!
