Luscious Literacy

This week in Literacy we have been writing stories in the style in Roald Dahl. We were also playing a dice game. The purpose of the game is to improve your sentences. If you get a certain number, you have to do a certain thing to your sentence. Here are this numbers and what you have to do:
- 1 is an opener
- 2 is a verb
- 3 is an adverb
- 4 is a subordinate clause
- 5 is a relative clause
- 6 is vocabulary
You start off with your simple sentence, and then, for example if you get a 4, you add a subordinate clause. (I just put a subordinate clause in!)
Perfect P.E
This term in P.E we are focusing on Netball and this week we were doing bounce passes, so first of all our teacher Mrs. Barlow just showed us how to actually do a bounce pass. Then we got into pairs and started to try to do them and then we got a demonstration by Jemima and Imogen to show us how to play a game that will help us learn the defensive part of this pass and when it will be good to use. After that, we just got into a circle and our teacher Mrs. Barlow threw the ball to us and we threw it back with a bounce pass just to check we were confident with this pass. This P.E lesson was very fun, like most of them, and all enjoyed it. This blog was done by Phoebe.
