English
We have been looking at expanding on our explain using the question ‘so what?’ We have also been getting a lot better at our class targets (clear Evidence and Explaination).
Maths
In maths we have been looking at area and perimeter. We know how to figure out perimeter by adding up the lengths of all the sides of the shape (P = L+W+L+W). We also know about m2 (metres squared) and what they look like. We also know how to figure out area by multiplying all of the sides together (A= LxW = A2). We have been figuring out missing lengths and giving reasons for our answers on what x and y are.
Science
In science we have been looking at the anatomy of a flower and the reproduction cycle of a flower. We have also been making poems, stories, and dances about the reproduction cycle of a flower.
Art
In art we have been learning about different types of pencils and making fur and drawing rabbits for Easter. These will go on cards at some unknown time.
We also have got assistant librarians and all of them got the job!
