In English this week, we completed our own story endings following on from when the wolves came out of the walls. Later in the week we continued to think about how to diagram prepositional phrases when they are adjectives. In reading, we have been exploring the ‘Wolves in the Walls,’ we have been thinking about Lucy and what the characters think that they should do next.
In maths, we completed our work on angles. We know how to identify an acute, obtuse and right angles. We have explored ordering angles by size and we have solved problems such as identifying which angle is the odd one out. Later in the week, we started working on statistics. We have been looking at data that is represented on a table and we have been learning how to draw an accurate bar graph.
This week in Computing, we learnt about silent movies and we watched ‘Rescued by Rover’. In our working groups we are working on planning and rehearsing our own silent movies. Next week we will be filming and editing these.
