This week, we have continued to read our abridged version of The Secret Garden. Again, we started the week by exploring the new vocabulary that we would be reading. We have continued to think about Mary, about her personality and her interest in the locked garden. In English we have been planning, writing and editing diary entries for Mary starting when she is alone in India up to the point where she first goes outside to play in the gardens at Misselthwaite Manor.
In maths, we have continued to learn about fractions. We have been adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator and we then moved on to subtracting fractions from whole numbers.
This week, we have watched our stop-frame animation films. The films can be viewed here –
