Dear Parents/Carers,
The children have settled really well into school. They are familiarising themselves with the classroom and outdoor area and beginning to choose their own resources and are learning to put them back where they belong at tidy up time.
This week we learnt a rhyme about how the children in Foundation Stage are special, the children talked about how we can show visitors in our class it belongs to them. They painted plates and have created collages using different resources.
This week in Maths the children have been learning how to count and talking about how they know how many objects they have. The children have been beginning to use a ten frame to show a given number of objects.
The children are now counting the days that they have been in school. When we get to one hundred days the children decided we should have a party.
