Class 4 have had another exciting week!
On Wednesday we went to Hill End. We started the day with pond dipping where we found hundreds of water boatmen along with a couple of snails! We also did meadow sweeping, during this activity we used big nets to try and catch creatures living in the meadow. After we had caught something we put it into a dish and tried to identify what it was.

Later in the morning, we all walked up into the woods for shelter building. We worked in teams to build shelters using the natural resources that we could find. At the end we had to get inside our shelters and Mr Hannigan tested them to see if they were waterproof!

In the afternoon we completed an orienteering course around the Hill End site. We had to read the map to work out which direction we needed to go in and then look out for the posts with letters/ numbers on.
