This week we have been watching and listening to stories that are set in fantasy (imaginary) worlds. Ask us to tell you what happened to the girl who swam into a washing machine! She met some unusual sea creatures! We enjoyed reading the story of the Fidgety Fish and creating descriptions of him using fantastic ‘wow’ words (describing words).
During our ICT lesson we created under the sea pictures using stamps and different backgrounds.
In maths we have been practising doubling numbers up to 5 (some of us can double numbers up to 10!) Ask us to explain what doubling is at home. We have also been working out what one more or one less than a number (up to 20) is. Some of us have even been finding 2 more or less as well.
For our Harvest Festival on Friday, we learned an acrostic poem and did some harvest printing to go with it.
Task: Who can draw/create a super-hero sea creature? What is your creature called? What are its super powers?
