English
In English we have been learning about a book called The lost happy endings.
At the start of the week we looked at the setting and came up with adjectives to describe it, for example, shadows looming. Also we described the setting with similes.
History
This term in history we are studying Vikings and Anglo Saxons. This week we have been looking at artefacts and trying to identify them, then after that we looked at the photo more closely with a clue and we realised what they were.
Maths
In maths this week we have been doing a range of things. At the start of the week we focused on place value but for most of the week we have been focusing on negative number and being confident with counting back in negative numbers.
PE
In PE we have been learning how to do netball passes and been practising the different throw and catching. In hockey we have been practising dribbling and tackling.
ICT
In ICT we have been looking at booklets and discussing if they were good or unacceptable. We each came up with a favourite.
Swimming
In swimming we were being assessed to whether we need help or not.
Other notes
We will be starting science soon.
Recorder is on Thursday.
