Firstly I must apologise for saying that the children were bringing home their sunflowers in decorated pots and then not sending them home! Sorry.
However, I hope they have all reached their destination now and are being watered and cared for. It is up to each child to look after their plant, note (in their book) how many leaves it has, water it, measure it and write down how tall it grows.
After a couple of weeks it will need to be planted in a sunny place in the garden.
This week we have been learning the time to nearest 5 minutes and working on multiplication and division (inverse operations)
We have been reading a book called The Wolves in the Walls, thinking about the characters and finding evidence in the text so we can describe them.
Finally, I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the children to do the maths folder of work, can I just say a big WELL DONE to everyone who completed it. I will send another one soon.
