Week 3 (27/04/2015)

This week we have been sharing and comparing stories about dinosaurs. We created our own versions of one of the stories, put it into a storyboard and told our stories to each other. Later in the week we wrote the stories, making sure we included adventurous vocabulary, connectives and correct punctuation. We have focused on the importance of full stops, exclamation marks and question marks; ask us why these are so important when reading and writing.

In Maths we have been adding 3 small numbers, using number bonds to 10 and doubling to help us solve them more speedily.

On Wednesday afternoon we were all enthralled and thoroughly entertained by the visiting German puppet show. Ask us to tell you all about it.

In Art we cut out dinosaur footprint shapes and printed with them.

TASK:  Our next topic is Celebrations (starting next Friday).  Who can find out about a celebration from around the world and tell us about it?
