Week 7 (17/10/2016)

On Wednesday we had wonderful weather for our walk to the recreation ground in Crowmarsh. Before we set off we looked at pictures of the trees and leaves and talked about the variety of shapes and colours. We also talked about all the different activities that take place in the park, such as football, cricket, dog-walking as well as sitting on the benches to rest and enjoy the scenery.

We have been enjoying a story called ‘Bears Don’t Read’. We hope to enjoy more stories about bears and use non-fiction books to find out about bears and how they live.

Just a note about half term; please try to read every day, think about numbers, practise counting with everything you do, find some sticks to make a den for your bear and have a wonderful half term break.

Finally, a huge thank you to all those who painted giant pencils for the courtyard area, your efforts are much appreciated. Thank you so much.
