As usual we started with maths. In maths we started with a work sheet about 100,000 and place value the sheet got us to explain our answers in detail, the sheet all so had lots of different ways to answer the questions, later we shared our ideas. We read a book called the hues in none the number to answer a question is zero a number the answer was yes but some of the class weren’t convinced so miss Hustwayte showed us some number line and then they saw what everyone agreed.
In guided reading there are 5 groups
- The pandas
- Slytherin
- The white tigers
- Gryfindor
- And the koala bears
Every group has a different task every day e.g. reading with Miss Hustwayte or Mrs Bailie, spellings and handwriting sheets grammar activities and book task which is set by the teacher when you read with them.
In P.E our teacher Mr Aplin is teaching us how to play netball a sport which some of us are mistaking for basketball since we are dribbling though not the type with spit.
We all so have a ‘word of the week’(w.o.w) this week the word was context. Miss hustwayte will change every week.
