This week we have been very busy rehearsing the play, making Christmas cakes, learning about simile, writing poetry, making Christingle oranges, enjoying a trip to the panto and whole lot more! It’s been a busy week.
Thanks to some fantastic parent helpers, we were able to enjoy the seasonal task of making Christmas cakes. We sieved flour and spices, creamed butter and sugar, mixed fruit, cracked eggs, grated lemons and best of all we squiggled black treacle into the mixture and made a wish!
Next week promises to be a very busy one too. So keep an eye on the newsletter so you know what is happening. As Friday will be Christmas jumper day, you will not need to bring in any party clothes for the party in the afternoon.
