School is feeling really festive now! We are very busy rehearsing our nativity play which we will perform for you all next week. We have watched Year 3 ,4 and 5 perform their play brilliantly and are looking forward to doing ours now.
We read and watched ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ this week, then wrote our own descriptions of Father Christmas. We have also continued to find out about Christmas traditions around the world.
In Maths, we have done some festive measuring, continued festive sequences and solved festive problems…can you sense a theme?!!!
We had fun making our Christingles in preparation for Friday’s Christingle service.
Please note that our KS1 Christmas party will now be on the last Friday of term (19th) in the afternoon, not Wednesday 17th as listed in the initial ‘dates for the diary.’ Children can wear Christmas jumpers on party day.
