In English this week we have been preparing to debate whether it would be good to live forever. We thought about both sides of the argument and then made more detailed notes either for or against. Once we had all of our information, we thought about the rules for debating. Finally on Friday, we went into the hall and debated the topic. In reading, we used point and evidence to think about what would happen to the missing book now. We also had a go at answering comprehension questions based on the book.
In maths, we have continued to learn about fractions. We have been exploring fractions that make more than 1. We answered question such as ‘pizzas are divided into eights, 18 slices of pizza are eaten. How many whole pizzas have been eaten?’ We will be continuing to learn about fractions after half term.
On Monday we took all of the photos that we need for our stop-frame animations. After half term we will be editing the photos into a film. Our films will be available to view when they are ready!
