In English this week, we have been investigating ways that we can improve our sentences by using prepositions, adjectives and adverbs. We have been looking at images of Ancient Egypt and thinking about how we can write effective, powerful sentences.
In Maths we recapped the grid method for multiplication and then we learnt the formal column method for multiplication. Later in the week, we started to learn about division.
We have also been busy rehearsing for our Christmas performance, thank you for your support getting costumes ready. We hope that you enjoy the performance next week.
Homework task for this week –Maths task , due in by Tuesday 8th December.
Homework diaries will be collected in every week (usually on a Tuesday), house points will be given to children who have read at least 4 times at home and have had their book signed by an adult.
