Maths
In maths, we have been looking at factors, multiples and factor pairs. Mr Morton has shown us the Mr Silvester Way to find multiples and factors of numbers (it can be complicated!). We are also… organising and making stalls for the Christmas fete! We are competing against each other to earn the most! We have a budget of only £10 ):
English/Grammar
In English, we have been writing newspaper reports from the stories in our homework. We are expected to use a few grammar features including: fronted adverbials (with commas!) and parenthesis. We have also been looking at answering and asking literal questions.
Other
We are currently busy practising for our Christmas play and must ensure we learn our lines as the dress rehearsal is only two weeks away! We will be putting the performance together with years 3 and 4 next week.
Special notice: Esme has left our class this week! We wish her well in her new school.
P.S: We all made her a card and put a memory of ourselves and her on it.
