In English, we started the week by editing and improving our descriptions of a secret garden. We have also been using highlighters to evidence our individual writing targets. There were some AMAZING pieces of descriptive writing in class 4! Then later in the week, we continued to read The Secret Garden. We have been introduced to Colin and we have been thinking about how his character compares to Mary. We have also continued to work on developing our understanding of different types of sentences.
In Maths, we have been looking at what = means and we have been finding missing values in number sentences.
E.g. 54 + 23 = 100 – __?__
200 – 120 = 17 + __?__
We have been busy this week in Art painting the scenery for our stop-frame animations. Thank you to everyone who brought in boxes for us to use.
