This week we began our ‘Under the Sea’ topic. Our English work has been focused on non-fiction texts – we have found out lots of facts about creatures that live under the sea and have written facts about them too. We were particularly interested in sharks so we created factfiles about them. In our maths lessons we have been learning about pairs of numbers that make 5, 6 and 10, and writing number sentences to go with them.
In RE we also listened to and discussed the story of Jonah and the Whale – ask us what happened. In ICT we learned how to log on to the laptops and then used modelling software to colour in under the sea pictures, and in our art session we created some beautiful fish pictures using collage.
