Dear Parents/Carers,
Over the last two weeks the children have settled well into the school routine. The children have talked about what they did during the holidays, sharing their holiday postcards in small groups and with the class. The children have really enjoyed getting to know the children in their class during Independent learning time.
This week we have talked to the children about purple learning, the children have decided to have a purple rocket to go on to when they are ‘purple learners’. The children decorated the rocket and have begun painting the backing paper for their ‘learning targets’ wall.
Next week we will talk about ‘Ourselves’ paint self- portraits, looking in the mirror and have our first opportunity to explore the hall space and play recorders.
The children should now have the ‘Home Learning Menu’ bring the learning in at any point and we will share it in school.
