Dear Parents/ Carers,
The children are beginning to settle well into school. They are starting to learn classroom routines and have begun to create their classroom rules so they can all have a happy safe place to work and play.
The children met the rest of the school in collective worship on Thursday. The children have been exploring their classroom, learning where resources belong and are getting very good at working as a team to tidy up.
Maybe as a challenge next week the children could try coming into school on their own, putting their belongings away and finding an activity.
On Friday 4th you should have received a letter about reading meetings. Apologies but some of the dates were incorrect. The sign up form will be on the door from Monday 7th September 2015 and the meetings will be held on Monday 14th, 5.00pm-5.30pm Wednesday 16th 6.00pm-6.30pm and Thursday 17th 1.00pm-1.30pm. We hope you will be able to attend one of these. The children can stay in the classroom during the afternoon session.
