In Maths this week we have been continuing to explore tens and ones. We have been representing numbers 20-30 using numbers, words, pictures and practical objects. We then compared these numbers by counting up by ones.
In English we have been using drama to prepare a news report about the picture book ‘Whatever Next’. The children really enjoyed taking turns to listen and act out the events that took place as Baby Bear went to the Moon.
We have also really enjoyed the children telling the class about the potatoes they created based on the characters from the books they chose.
Year 1, 2 and Class R children have also worked really well for Religion Day. We have been learning about Judaism, Christianity and Islam and the upcoming religious festivals for each of the religions.
