We went on a Watching Walk in the school grounds to look for plants and animals. We have been thinking about why we found things in a particular place. We found a snail under some twigs and stones where it was damp and there were leaves to eat. We were trying to identify insects by using a Garden Entomology Guide. We spotted hoverflies, earwigs, spiders, snails and aphids amongst other things.
We have been looking at and talking about fruit and vegetables. We know that fruits have seeds in them. Talk about the fruit and veg you eat this weekend.
We have been revising our bonds to 10 and 20, linking addition facts to subtraction facts.
