This week has been all about Purple Learning. On Monday afternoon we thought carefully about how we could represent purple learning though either a pattern or words. We then painted our idea onto a board, later in the week these were then put with the rest of the school and an amazing photo was taken of them all. On Tuesday we had a Maths afternoon, we rotated around different challenges. Some of the tasks were really challenging but most of us persevered and didn’t give up!
We have also in English been reading ‘Wolves’ by Emily Gravett. This is a very clever ‘book within a book’ picture book. We looked at the way the text has been organised and we compared it to ‘The Wolves in The Walls’.
In Maths, we have been continuing to learn how to find fractions of amounts.
On Thursday we also had our second step-up session in Class 5.
