Maths

This week in maths we have been learning about area and perimeter and have been doing investigations and finding out different measurements by measuring different shapes.

In English we have been learning about Robin Hood who lived in Sherwood forest with he merry men. He and his men robbed from the rich and gave the money to the poor. Also we have learnt that he was a fine archer and became an outlaw because he shot one of the kings deer.

Science

In science we have been looking at forces and course and affect for example the higher the ramp the further the car goes or the bigger the mass (weight), the more the elastic stretches.

Topic/ History

In history we have been studying the battle of Hastings and are making a stop frame animation of the battle with a football commentary of what happened in the fight for the throne. We also visited Wallingford Museum and Castle.
