This week in English we have continued to work our way through The Secret Garden. We have written descriptions of our own secret garden, which we then edited and improved. We have also been continuing to work on using a range of conjunctions in our writing.
In Maths, we started the week by recapping mental methods for multiplication and division. We then moved on to looking at fractions. Firstly, we learnt how to find a fraction of an amount e.g. 3/5 of 40. Then we looked at equivalent fractions.
In art/ computing, we have started to make the characters and scenery for our stop frame animations. Thank you to everyone who supplied a cardboard box!

Homework task for this week – English task on multi-clause sentences. The children should have selected either challenge 1 or 2.
