In English/ History this week, we have been looking at the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb. We have been using evidence to find out what happened when Howard Carter found the tomb and we have been thinking about what was inside. We have started to explore newspapers and we have planned our own report. Next week, we will be writing our own newspaper report about the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb.
In Maths we had a quick look at weighing. Then we learnt how to draw bar graphs. We have been thinking carefully about drawing the axis and how to decide on the scale.
We have been busy this week learning the songs for the Christmas performance. Please can children learn their lines/ song words at home.
Homework task for this week –Maths task. This work needs to be handed in by Tuesday 24th November.
Homework diaries will be collected in every week (usually on a Tuesday), house points will be given to children who have read at least 4 times at home and have had their book signed by an adult.
